GBL Bus Times 04/24/2011

Everyone will be meeting around the back side of the school to catch the bus to Lawrence at 6:30 am SHARP. If you're not there we will be leaving without you. Racing begins at 9:30 am and should last until 1:00 pm. Varsity bring tanks and novice bring t-shirts. The t-shirts will be available at practice on Monday and are $5 each.

It is MANDATORY that all rowers return on the bus as we will need to load Wentworth's trailer after racing.

For the first two weeks, indoor practice will be between 3:00-4:30pm. For all subsequent weeks (starting March 21st) practice times will change to 2:30-3:30pm. This is because we have to share the cages with all other spring sports teams.

Please wear gym clothes and sneakers. Bring a water bottle.

Also, there will be NO PRACTICE ON WEDNESDAY (March 9th) as it is a half day.

Things required to participate in spring season:
  • Up to date physical exam (check with me if you're not sure you have one)
  • MIAA Sports Questionnaire
  • User fee ($175) attached to Drug Policy
  • USRowing Liability Waiver
  • Register on this site by clicking on the "forms" tab and entering information
  • Swim Test (to be scheduled in early March at the Kennedy Pool in Somerville)
Without doing any one of these you will be denied access to practice with the team. You have until Feb. break to get all of this done. If you have any questions about what you are missing, come see me and I'll let you know.

Bus for States 10/27/2010

The bus will be meeting around the back of the school and LEAVING at 9:30am. This is the latest possible time for it to leave due to the amount of time to rig the boats and get to the start. Be on time!

Mandatory 5k Run 09/24/2010

This year we will not be doing the Textile Regatta. Please be sure to sign up for the Medford Fit For Life 5k run which is held on the same day (Oct. 3) at 10:00am. The proceeds of this run allow 16 under privileged children to go to the Medford Summer Camp for a week. The form to sign up is found below. Be sure to wear your awesome MHS Crew/Export Towing shirts!
